Peter Mwamlima is a dedicated medical laboratory scientist with over six years of experience
in the medical laboratory and research sector. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Medical
Laboratory Sciences from Kamuzu University of Health Sciences and is poised to begin his
Master’s studies in Business Administration.
As a passionate advocate for healthcare system improvement, Peter has identified and seized entrepreneurial opportunities within this domain. He founded a medical supplies business aimed at addressing critical issues of quality and accessibility in the market. This venture is driven by his commitment to creating a sustainable and ethical supply chain that delivers essential medical products while combating the challenges posed by middlemen and counterfeit goods.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Peter is an avid reader and music enthusiast. He actively engages in leadership roles across various platforms in Malawi, with a strong focus on youth development.
Currently, Peter is working on establishing a health tech incubator and accelerator hub in Blantyre, Malawi, where he envisions cultivating local talent and fostering innovative solutions to enhance health outcomes. Through his endeavours, Peter aspires to make a significant contribution to the advancement of healthcare in Malawi, ensuring that quality services are accessible to all.
