Ndahekelekwa Naambo Niikondo is currently working as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at the Namibia Institute of Pathology (NIP). Ms. Niikondo was born on the 13th of December 1996 in the small village of Onantsi, located on the outskirts of Ondangwa, a town previously known as the economic hub of the O’4 region in the north of Namibia.
She completed her NSSC in 2014, which allowed her to pursue a foundation course (INSTEM) in 2015 at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST). She completed her undergraduate bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science at the same university in 2019. Ms. Niikondo holds various certifications, including leadership from the business school of Stellenbosch University and research from the University of Washington. She serves on the executive team of the Namibia Association of Medical Laboratory Sciences (NAMLS) as a CPD and event coordinator. Ms. Niikondo is also a board of trustee member for the African Federation of Medical Laboratory Science Students Association (AFMLSSA). She is a Christian believer whose identity is deeply rooted in glorifying God the Father, Son, and Spirit in whatever vocation she serves. In addition to her work, she is a part-time author and hopes to pursue writing full-time in the coming years.
