Director of Finance and Treasurer AFMLSSA
Ally Masudi was born in the Mtwara region of Tanzania and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science at Kampala International University. Throughout his academic journey, Ally has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to his field.
During his studies, he served as the class representative for the BMLS program, where he effectively communicated the needs and concerns of his peers. His leadership skills were further recognized when he became the chairperson of the Tanzania Medical Laboratory Association (TAMELASA), where he played a pivotal role in advocating for the interests of medical laboratory professionals.
In addition to his role as chairperson, Ally also served as the vice president of TAMELASA, contributing to the association’s initiatives and projects aimed at improving laboratory services in Tanzania.
Currently, Ally is the Director of Finance and Treasurer for the African Federation of Medical Laboratory Science Students Association (AFMLSSA), where he oversees financial operations and supports the organization’s mission to enhance the education and professional development of medical laboratory students across Africa.
Moreover, he is actively involved as the Assistant Director of the “Without Non-Communicable Disease Initiative,” where he works towards raising awareness and implementing strategies to combat non-communicable diseases in the community.
Ally Masudi is passionate about advancing the medical laboratory field and is dedicated to making a positive impact in healthcare through leadership and advocacy.
